McDuffee Veterinary Services


Dr. McDuffee is a 1989 graduate of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to Vet School, she earned a Associate in Arts (Liberal Arts) from Cottey College and a Bachelor of Science (Animal Bioscience) from Penn State. She worked for 4 years in Pennsylvania, and relocated to Dahlonega, GA in 1993. In addition to small animal general practice, she has also worked full time as a shelter vet and in emergency/critical care. After seeing the benefits of acupuncture in her own life, she decided to add yet another dimension to her clinical skills. She has completed 130 hours of training in small animal acupuncture at the renowned Chi Institute and is awaiting certification.

She shares her home in Lumpkin County with Black and Tan Coonhound Gordie, Boxer/Beagle mix Dac, and cats Wynnie, Zac and Spook.
